I chose Irell because I wanted to be given interesting and exciting opportunities and responsibilities sooner rather than later. In my first six months at the firm I wrote three complaints, an opposition to a motion to dismiss, a major portion of a Federal Circuit appellate brief, and a major portion of a brief filed with the Supreme Court of the United States, as well as a number of other motions. On one of my cases I have a witness at an upcoming trial. At Irell, I am getting exactly the kinds of opportunities I had hoped for to start my career.
