Iian Jablon and Jason Sheasby Elected to Partnership

Iian Jablon and Jason Sheasby, litigators in Irell & Manella LLP’s Century City office, have been elected as partners.

Iian Jablon is a member of the professional liability defense, white collar defense, and intellectual property litigation practice groups. He focuses on complex business disputes in state and federal courts, and has represented clients in a broad range of industries in matters involving alleged legal malpractice, tax and securities fraud, trade secrets, business contracts, patent infringement, bankruptcy, and employment issues.  Mr. Jablon received his J.D. in 1999 from USC, where he graduated first in his class, was elected to the Order of the Coif, and served as a Notes Editor for the Southern California Law Review. Prior to joining Irell & Manella, Mr. Jablon served as a law clerk to the Honorable Arthur Alarcon, United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, and to the Honorable Edward Rafeedie, United States District Court for the Central District. Mr. Jablon received his B.A. in 1994 from UC Berkeley, where he majored in Classical Civilization.

Jason Sheasby is a member of the intellectual property litigation and patent, copyright, and trademark practice groups. He focuses on complex patent and other intellectual property disputes, intellectual property licensing, and regulatory compliance counseling in the health sciences field. He has represented clients in a broad range of industries, including the biopharmaceutical and semiconductor industries, in addition to leading non-profit research institutions. Mr. Sheasby received his J.D. in 1999 from the Harvard Law School, where he graduated cum laude. Mr. Sheasby received his B.A. summa cum laude in Philosophy from Pomona College.
