Chu and Iancu were recognized for the settlements they secured in 2012 for TiVo in patent cases against AT&T, Verizon and Microsoft, which brought the total payments to TiVo to over $1 billion.

Chu and Iancu will be featured, along with the other CLAY winners, in the March issue of California Lawyer magazine. Sixty lawyers, judges and professors received the award in 21 different areas of legal practice.
