CLAY Award Goes to Three Irell Associates for Pro Bono CasePrint PDF
Bryant Yang, Zachary Davidson and Curt Brown received the 2016 CLAY Award for Criminal Justice from the Daily Journal. The three associates were recognized as the "California Lawyer Attorneys of the Year" for their pro bono representation of Edel Gonzalez. The group obtained the first-ever resentencing under the new California Fair Sentencing for Youth Act and later secured Edel's release from prison, along with Heidi Rummel and Scott Mills of the USC Post-Conviction Justice Project who were also recipients of the award.
