Aaron H. Cole is an associate in the Los Angeles office of Irell & Manella LLP, where he is a member of the litigation practice group. Mr. Cole’s practice focuses on representing employers in labor and employment matters. Mr. Cole has extensive experience defending Fortune 500 employers in both state and federal courts in wage-and-hour class actions from pre-certification to successful administration of settlements. Mr. Cole also counsels employers regarding terminations, employment contracts, revisions of employee handbooks, compliance with wage-and-hour laws, and investigations by government agencies. Mr. Cole’s active pro bono practice includes counseling non-profit and small community-based employers, and successful representation of low-wage workers before the DLSE. Mr. Cole is also active in the Labor and Employment Section of the Los Angeles County Bar Association and was recently appointed to that section’s Executive Committee. Mr. Cole’s litigation experience also includes intellectual property and professional negligence suits.
Prior to joining Irell, Mr. Cole served as law clerk to the Honorable Gary A. Feess of the United States District Court, Central District of California. While attending UCLA School of Law, Mr. Cole also served as judicial extern to the Honorable Nora M. Manella of the Central District of California.
