Adam Fletcher is an associate in the Los Angeles office of Irell & Manella LLP. Mr. Fletcher's practice encompasses a broad range of complex commercial litigation matters in federal and state courts at both the trial and appellate levels. His experience includes defending corporate officers and directors in complex securities class actions, derivative cases and SEC-related matters, white collar defense, intellectual property, antitrust, and federal acquisition regulations. Mr. Fletcher has considerable experience with internal investigations undertaken by corporations and has led large teams to investigate and defend sophisticated and far-ranging allegations of fraud and accounting violations. His current and recent clients include directors and officers of a number of publicly traded companies, including the former CEO of a Fortune 100 financial institution and current directors of one of the largest gaming companies in the world. Mr. Fletcher has also performed extensive pro bono work, particularly in the area of victims of mortgage fraud, and is deeply interested in education and education policy. Mr. Fletcher currently serves on the board of a technology-centered charter school that will open its doors in Fall 2012.
Mr. Fletcher earned his J.D. from Harvard Law School cum laude. While in law school he also created and led seminars at Harvard University involving economic analysis of various current political issues, including education and health care. Mr. Fletcher received his B.A., magna cum laude, and M.A. in Economics from UC Santa Barbara.
