Julian Hwang is an associate in the Los Angeles office of Irell & Manella LLP and a member of the firm's transactions workgroup.

Mr. Hwang received his J.D. from the University of Chicago, where he was a member of the Chicago Journal of International Law.  During law school, Mr. Hwang volunteered at a clinic helping local entrepreneurs launch their businesses and spent a summer assisting the City of Chicago's Building and Land Use Division. He earned his B.A., cum laude, from Harvard University.

Mr. Hwang is proficient in French and Mandarin Chinese.
