Randall L. Jackson

Randall Jackson is an associate in the Los Angeles office of Irell & Manella LLP, where he is a member of the firm's litigation workgroup.

Mr. Jackson received his B.A. in Political Science, summa cum laude, from UCLA. Mr. Jackson earned his J.D. from Harvard Law School, where he was an Executive Articles Editor of the Civil Rights-Civil Liberties Law Review. As a member of the Board of Students Advisers, he was a legal writing instructor to first-year students.

While serving as an editor of the Civil Rights-Civil Liberties Law Review, Mr. Jackson authored a case comment on the topic of voluntary desegregation (41 Harv. C.R.-C.L. L. Rev. 553). He has also co-authored two articles on Federal Rule of Evidence 703 with Christine Byrd:

  • "The Use of Market and Industry Data in Patent Damages: The Two Approaches under Federal Rule of Evidence 703," by Christine Byrd and Randall Jackson, The Intellectual Property Strategist, Law Journal Newsletters (January 2007).

After law school, Mr. Jackson served as a law clerk to the Honorable Stephen V. Wilson of the United States District Court for the Central District of California.
