Mark A. Kressel is an associate in the Los Angeles office of Irell & Manella LLP, where he is a member of the firm's litigation workgroup.
Mr. Kressel earned his J.D. from Yale Law School, where he was a Comments Editor of The Yale Law Journal. He received his B.A. in American Studies, cum laude, from Yale University.
Prior to joining Irell & Manella, Mr. Kressel served as a law clerk to the Honorable Jay S. Bybee of the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
Mr. Kressel authored "Contractual Waiver of Corporate Attorney-Client Privilege," a note which was published in 116 YALE L.J. 412 (2006) and "New York Lawyers, New York Law: The Influence of New York Lawyers on Contractual Choice of Law."
He is proficient in Spanish.
