Mark A. Kressel is an associate in the Los Angeles office of Irell & Manella LLP, where he is a member of the firm's litigation workgroup.
Mr. Kressel currently serves as Secretary of the Barristers' Section of the Los Angeles County Bar Association.
He earned his J.D. from Yale Law School, where he was a Comments Editor of The Yale Law Journal. He received his B.A. in American Studies, cum laude, from Yale University.
Prior to joining Irell & Manella, Mr. Kressel served as a law clerk to the Honorable Jay S. Bybee of the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
Mr. Kressel authored "Contractual Waiver of Corporate Attorney-Client Privilege," a note which was published in 116 YALE L.J. 412 (2006) and "New York Lawyers, New York Law: The Influence of New York Lawyers on Contractual Choice of Law."
He is proficient in Spanish.
