Kevin M. Winzer is an associate in the Los Angeles office of Irell & Manella LLP, where he is a member of the firm's litigation practice group. Mr. Winzer’s experience includes a variety of securities and commercial litigation matters, including a number of internal investigations conducted in response to shareholder demands. He has represented officers and directors of several publicly traded companies, including the former chairman and CEO of a Fortune 100 company in actions brought by shareholders and the SEC, and the directors of one of the largest gaming companies in the world. Mr. Winzer is a member of the Irell team that obtained a $20 million summary judgment award for a mutual fund in an investment mismanagement case against a third party investment fund.
Mr. Winzer earned his J.D. from UCLA School of Law in 2009. He received his Bachelor of Music, cum laude, from San Francisco State University in 2005.
Mr. Winzer is an accomplished guitarist and keyboardist. He performs in several musical ensembles, including the Legal Voices choir.
