Leighton Leib is an associate in the Los Angeles office of Irell & Manella LLP, where he is a member of the litigation practice group.
Mr. Leib earned his J.D., magna cum laude, from the Northwestern University School of Law, where he was Executive Editor of the Northwestern University Law Review and elected to the Order of the Coif. During law school, he also served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Joan Humphrey Lefkow of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, research assistant to Professors Marshall Shapo and Leonard Rubinowitz, and president of the Northwestern Law chapter of Amnesty International.
Prior to law school, Mr. Leib received his B.A., magna cum laude, in English from Amherst College, and earned a Master of Arts in Mass Communications, Documentary Filmmaking, from the Documentary Institute at the University of Florida, graduating with distinction. He has produced and directed films that screened at venues including the Palm Beach International Film Festival and The Education Channel.
