Douglas Fretty is an associate in the Los Angeles office of Irell & Manella LLP where he is a member of the firm’s litigation practice group.
Mr. Fretty earned his J.D. from UCLA School of Law in 2011 where he was a Michael T. Masin Scholar and selected Order of the Coif. While in law school, he worked as a Legal Intern at Occidental Petroleum Corporation. Prior to law school, Mr. Fretty founded a start-up Chinese instruction service. He earned his B.A. in Art-Semiotics from Brown University in 2005 where he was Magazine Editor and Op-Ed Columnist for The Brown Daily Herald and Arts Editor of The College Hill Independent.
