Amit Gressel is a litigation associate in the Los Angeles office of Irell & Manella LLP. His practice focuses on class action defense, media and entertainment litigation, and IP litigation. Recently, he represented a national radio broadcaster in a common law copyright dispute alleging infringement of performance rights in pre-1972 sound recordings.
Mr. Gressel also maintains an active pro bono practice. He is currently representing clients in matters relating to real estate fraud.
Mr. Gressel earned his J.D. from Stanford Law School, where he served as Articles Editor Chair of the Stanford Technology Law Journal. While in law school, Mr. Gressel was a judicial extern for Magistrate Judge Andrew Wistrich of the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California. He earned his B.A., cum laude, in Political Science from the University of California, Los Angeles.
