Richard Ung-Jin Lee is counsel and a member of the firm's transactions workgroup in the Los Angeles office.
Mr. Lee has been involved in numerous public and private company mergers and acquisitions at Irell & Manella, including the sale of the Anaheim Angels baseball club, the sale of The Learning Company, the purchase of cable assets by Charter Communications, and leveraged acquisitions by Leonard Green & Partners. Mr. Lee also specializes in matters pertaining to the Hart-Scott-Rodino Antitrust Improvement Act of 1976.
Prior to joining Irell & Manella, Mr. Lee was an associate at Sullivan & Cromwell, both in New York and in Los Angeles, from 1989 to 1992, where he was involved in numerous public offerings of equity and debt securities, as well as nonregistered offerings.
