Stephanie Spiro is a litigation associate in the Los Angeles office of Irell & Manella LLP.

Ms. Spiro earned her J.D. from The University of Chicago Law School, where she was Executive Comments Editor of The Chicago Journal of International Law. While in law school, Ms. Spiro participated in three legal aid clinical programs—Young Center for Immigrant Children's Rights, Mental Health Project, and Poverty and Housing Law Clinic—and received the Edwin F. Mandel Award for students who contributed the most to the law school's clinical programs. Ms. Spiro additionally worked as a Judicial Extern for the Honorable Brigid Mary McGrath of the Cook County Circuit Court, Commercial Division, and as a research assistant for the American Law Institute's Restatement (Third) of Consumer Contracts.

Ms. Spiro earned her M.A. in Stress, Crisis & Trauma Studies from Tel Aviv University and her B.A., summa cum laude, in Hispanic Studies and Sociology, with High Honors, from Brandeis University, where she was a member of Phi Beta Kappa. She is fluent in Spanish.
