Bita Assad is an associate in the Litigation group who is licensed to practice in New York. She has taken the February 2021 California bar examination, with results pending. Before joining Irell & Manella LLP, Bita was an associate with a New York firm, where her practice focused on complex commercial, corporate and securities litigation at both the trial and appellate levels.

Bita received her J.D. from Yale Law School, where she was senior articles editor of the Yale Human Rights & Development Law Journal. She earned her B.A. magna cum laude from Harvard College and served as a news executive for The Harvard Crimson newspaper.
