Claire Zhang is a litigation associate in the Newport Beach office of Irell & Manella LLP. Prior to joining Irell, she was an associate in the San Francisco office of an international litigation firm, where her practice was focused on intellectual property and complex commercial litigation.

During law school, Claire served as a judicial extern for the Hon. Margaret Mann of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of California, a legal intern for a human resources software startup and a law clerk for the San Francisco Public Defender’s Office.

Claire earned her J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley School of Law and her B.S. in Economics and Finance from Tsinghua University School of Economics and Management.

Claire is a native speaker of Mandarin.
