Leah Johannesson earned her J.D., summa cum laude, from Loyola Law School, where she was elected to the Order of the Coif. Leah was recognized as a Sayre MacNeil Scholar and a member of the Thomas More Honor Society. She also served as chief technical editor of the Loyola of Los Angeles Law Review.

While in law school, Leah was a legal extern in the Civil Division of the U.S. Attorney's Office. She also served as an extern for the Hon. Arthur L. Alarcon of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.

Prior to law school, Leah worked as a business analyst at a real estate software company.

  • B/E Aerospace, Inc. v. Zodiac Aerospace (E.D. Tex.). Representing B/E in a patent infringement action involving utility and design patents for aircraft interiors.
  • Representing an orthopedic surgery practice in internal and government investigation as well as related civil litigation.
  • Snyders Heart Valve LLC v. St. Jude Medical Cardiology Division Inc. et al. (E.D. Tex.). Defended St. Jude in a patent infringement action involving artificial heart valves.
