Michael Tezyan is an associate in the Litigation group. He earned his J.D. from UCLA School of Law, where he was elected to the Order of the Coif and awarded Masin Family Academic Excellence Gold Awards for Constitutional Law I and Remedies.

While in law school, Michael served as a managing editor of the UCLA Law Review and chief managing editor of the UCLA Journal of Law & Technology. He also worked as a student associate in the Patent Module of UC Hastings College of the Law’s Startup Legal Garage, where he advised an early-stage biotechnology startup and conducted a freedom to operate analysis of a complex antibody drug conjugate technology. 

Prior to law school, Michael worked as a laboratory technician at a fuel cell research and development startup. He earned his B.S., summa cum laude, in Chemistry from University of California, Los Angeles.
