Morgan Chu Receives California Lawyer CLAY Award

Morgan Chu received the 2013 California Lawyer Attorneys of the Year (CLAY) Award in the area of intellectual property. The award is given annually to California attorneys whose achievements had a significant impact on the law.

Morgan was recognized for the settlements he secured in 2012 for TiVo in patent cases against AT&T, Verizon and Microsoft, which brought the total payments to TiVo to over $1 billion. He will be featured, along with the other CLAY winners, in the March issue of California Lawyer magazine. Sixty lawyers, judges and professors received the award in 21 different areas of legal practice.
