Adam Shapiro is a transactional associate in the Los Angeles office of Irell & Manella LLP. His practice focuses on merger and acquisitions, intellectual property transactions, corporate finance and general corporate matters.
Mr. Shapiro earned his J.D., summa cum laude, from Loyola Law School, where he was elected Order of the Coif, a Sayre MacNeil Scholar, and a member of the St. Thomas More Honor Society. He also served as Production Editor of the Loyola of Los Angeles Law Review. While in law school, Mr. Shapiro was a legal extern for the Honorable R. Gary Klausner of the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California. He also interned in the legal department of Viacom Media Networks.
Prior to law school, Mr. Shapiro worked as a media buyer, focused on national broadcast television advertising. His clients included high-profile hospitality, gaming, and transportation companies.
Mr. Shapiro earned his B.A. in English from the University of Michigan.
