Jared Looper is an associate in the Litigation group. Before joining Irell, he clerked for the Hon. Mark C. Scarsi of the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California.

Jared earned his J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School, where he was editor in chief of the Michigan Journal of Environmental and Administrative Law and was awarded a Dean’s Merit Scholarship. He obtained his B.A., magna cum laude, in Political Science, with a minor in Statistics, from the University of Texas at Dallas.

During law school, Jared worked as a student attorney for the Low-Income Taxpayer Clinic.
