Irell & Manella represented The Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts, in negotiating the precedent-setting long-term consignment arrangement to sell artwork from the Foundation's collection through Christie's in live auctions, online auctions and private sales, establishing a new frontier for artist foundations in the global market. The transaction will allow the Foundation to significantly increase its endowment in order to ensure and expand its long-term support of the visual arts.
