Tessera Secures $145M Arbitration Award

Irell & Manella client Tessera Inc. received an arbitration award in its favor totaling approximately $145 million.

Tessera received the award against Amkor Technology Inc. from a three-person arbitration panel of the International Court of Arbitration of the International Chamber of Commerce. The total includes an award of $113 million and estimated interest of $12 million, as well as a $20 million interim award that Amkor already paid.

Co-led by partners Jason Sheasby and Ben Hattenbach, the team also includes Dr. Annita Zhong.
