Morgan Chu Recognized Among Law360’s 2018 IP MVPs
Morgan Chu was profiled as one of Law360’s 2018 Intellectual Property MVPs. Law360's MVPs are attorneys who have distinguished themselves from their peers over the past year through high-stakes litigation, record-breaking deals and complex global matters. The publication highlighted Mr. Chu’s work in NantKwest Inc. v. Iancu, in which he convinced an en banc panel of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit to reject the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office's position that applicants who appeal to a district court must foot the agency's legal bills, regardless of who wins. The publication also noted that Mr. Chu takes great pride in helping to nurture the careers of younger IP attorneys at the firm.
