Steven Marshack is an associate in the Litigation group. While earning his J.D. from the University of California, Irvine School of Law, Steven received the Faculty Award (highest performance in a course) in Patent Law, Negotiations, Advanced Legal Research and the Intellectual Property, Arts, and Technology Clinic, and received the Dean’s Award (second highest performance) in Legal Writing. During law school, Steven was a judicial extern in the Central District of California’s Patent Program, where he handled patent matters for five district judges.

Steven earned a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering with a concentration in Patent Law from George Washington University. Prior to law school, he provided facility engineering support to mission-critical sites, including classified data centers, overseas military installations and the White House complex. In his spare time, he enjoys snowboarding, surfing and playing tennis.
