NewsChu and Siegel Named to Daily Journal Top 100 Lawyers in California List
Irell & Manella LLP partners—Morgan Chu and David Siegel—were named to the Los Angeles and San Francisco Daily Journal’s 2011 list of the “Top 100 Lawyers in California.”
Morgan Chu was recognized for his court victories on behalf of TiVo, resulting in over $600 million being paid to TiVo and a finding of contempt against the defendant EchoStar, and for his work on behalf of St. Jude Medical Inc. in obtaining a $27.1 million jury verdict—the largest ever handed down in the Western District of Arkansas in any area of law— in a patent infringement case against Access Closure Inc.
David Siegel was recognized for securities litigation, including the representation of Angelo Mozilo and obtaining favorable outcomes in a series of securities and shareholder lawsuits.
